CHAPTER

From the earliest stages of the project, Chapter was guided by the language of flowers. Rather than applying florals as decoration, IDST used them as a conceptual framework for the entire interior: influencing pattern, colour, materiality, craft, objects, atmosphere and the individual character of each room.

The concept is strengthened by Chapter’s relationship with its own flower shop Ribbonaira. Guests experience the café alongside the everyday ritual of florists selecting stems and assembling bouquets, allowing scent, texture, movement and seasonality to become part of the spatial experience.
